Our Ministries at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Orillia
Worship & Music
Sunday Services at St Andrew’s are at 10am and incorporate a variety of prayer, praise and music. Our beautiful organ provides a wonderful background for the Sanctuary Choir as well as both preludes and postludes for our services. Our handbell choir as well as smaller groups joyfully contribute to services throughout the year.
While music plays a vital role in our service, Prayer, Bible readings, and the weekly sermon are integral to our weekly worship service. We also have conversations with the children in the congregation on a weekly basis before they retire to Sunday School.
Music Opportunities:
- Sanctuary Choir
- Handbell Choir
- Higher Ground (by invitation only)
For more information please contact our Music Director, Marshall Martin 705.325.5183 Ext 4.
Kids Programs
St Andrew’s Orillia is delighted to host children of all ages. Sunday School (3 – 12yrs) is offered during worship services.
Alpha and Adult Bible Study
The Alpha Course is created to emphasize the essentials that all denominations agree on. We believe that what unites us is infinitely greater than what divides us. The Alpha Course is an effective way to share the Good News of Jesus when done by and through the local church. The goal is to create a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about Jesus. The Alpha Film Series and Alpha Youth Series were designed to take guests on a journey of faith over multiple weeks. Each session covers a key element of the gospel in a way that is easy-to-follow and leaves space for people to explore their questions about life, faith, and God.
Studying the bible in small groups in a more intimate setting develops a sense of community, builds relationships, and deepens our walk with God.
Our minister offers studies related to the seasons of the Christian calendar, more in-depth study of worship lessons, and other topics as they relate to living as a Christian in a secular society.
We often utilize video studies found on RightNow Media, a wonderful tool both for group settings and individual learning.

Each Study session is advertised through our website, our Facebook page and in our weekly bulletins. We would be delighted to have you join us and gain a better understanding of our world and how God and the Bible relate to it. Our Church Office at 705-325-5183 EXT 1 is always happy to provide more information.
