What is a Presbyterian?
The name refers to how we organize ourselves. A group of people, called Elders, are elected to oversee the work of the congregation along with the minister. Representative Elders participate in larger church groups (Presbyteries, Synods, and the National level).
Other Important Statements & Resources
We acknowledge that we worship on the traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg, specifically the lands of the Ojibwe/Chippewa people. This territory is covered by Lake Simcoe Treaty 16. We are all treaty people.
