Christian Sunday School Teacher

Position

OPC St. Andrew’s is seeking a Sunday School Teacher. We are looking for an energetic, engaging person to support and encourage the growth of children in their faith.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead weekly Sunday school classes during worship service.
• Ability to work independently and interdependently.
• Understand young people and family dynamics.
• Choosing and preparing age-appropriate Bible-based curriculum.
• Establish a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment.

Requirements

We are looking for a Christian who is able to pass a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check. Having Standard First Aid training would be an asset.

Pay & Hours

This is a contract position of approximately 2-3 hours per week with an hourly rate of $25.00 with an increase after 3 months.
