Preaching for the Call. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Session has invited Rev. Shelly Chandler to preach for The Call on June 12, 2022 at our 10:00 a.m. service. Rev. Shelly will spend the weekend in Orillia and have an opportunity to meet informally with members of the congregation. There will be a Congregational Meeting immediately following the service. Your Elder will provide you with further details about the weekend, as they become finalized. We look forward to seeing you on June 12.

Orillia Seniors Weekly Program.
The Sharing Place Food Centre provides a range of services to people in the greater Orillia area. Melissa Franklin, coordinator, and Chris Peacock, executive director, will describe how the Centre is responding to changing needs as our local population continues to age and deal with issues heightened by Covid-19. The work of staff and volunteers at the Centre links people to resources that can help them to age at home, in comfort and dignity. The morning begins with coffee and conversation at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments, activities, and a hearty lunch are all available for $10.For information, call 705 325-5183 ext. 3

Toronto, ON. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. -.2:00 p.m. and the Celebration of Life Service begins at 2:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed.

The 10 most urgently required items are: Rice (not instant or minute), Coffee (not instant), Whole Crain Cereal (450 g), Canned Soup Veg/Mushroom/Chicken Noodle, Canned Vegetables Corn/Peas/Mushrooms, Canned Meat & Fish, Peanut Butter (375 g & 500 g), Dried Spices/Herbs, Spaghetti Sauce and Cat Food. There are clear collection bins located in the hallway by the Peter Street door and outside the library.
